Thank you for visiting the website of Broxtowe Conservatives.
Broxtowe is a diverse marginal seat, which makes it a very exciting place to be politically and socially.
Anna Soubry is the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Broxtowe. Anna took the seat from Labour at the 2010 General Election and quickly gained a reputation for hard work and plain speaking. As our MP, Anna always puts her constituents first, holding debates in Parliament on local issues. In 2012, Anna was made Minister for Public Health before moving onto to become the first female MP Defence Minister in the October 2013 reshuffle. Anna was promoted to Minister of State for Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans in July 2014,
After the Referendum in June 2016 and the subsequent resignation of David Cameron, Anna decided to return to the back benches.

In the 2013 County Council Elections, Broxtowe returned four County Councillors to County Hall. Dr. John Doddy and Richard Jackson in Chilwell & Toton, Philip Owen in Nuthall and John Handley in Beauvale. The County Council is currently controlled by the Labour Party with a majority of one seat.
Our elected officials continue in their quest to make Broxtowe a fantastic place for us all to live. Additionally we are re-structuring the group to make ourselves an even more potent force in the future. This process includes recruiting new members to become the volunteers, councillors and MP's of the future. This is also where the socialising comes in! So if you think you would like to come out and make a difference in Broxtowe with us, there has never been a better time to join!
See our events page for opportunities to meet the team and don't hesitate to contact us and get involved.
